This was a simple simulation model I built for demonstration purposes of a hypothetical day surgery. The model was built in the Simio Software Package and show Pre-Operation beds, Post operation beds and Surgery. It runs of a relational database of tasks and timings and can be used to analyse overall performance of a department based on varied demand and resources.
